The hose that the attachments fit on is somewhat stiff and not very long, only 8 feet. While you can put attachments on it to vacuum up pet hair and get in the crannies around chair cushions, this will take some effort.

You will be disappointed with this vacuum if you’re trying to clean thick carpets like Berber.
