There is no doubt that this is a specialist tool rather than a multi-functional, handheld vacuum but the issue of dust mites, allergens and other problems regarding dirty mattresses means that this is surely a welcome aid. As for the battery life, it claims to offer 20 minutes run-time through the love-it-or-hate-it trigger method and it is worth noting that this drops to around 15 minutes when the motorized brush is in use, it is simply much more power hungry that way. The plus side is that it only takes a few hours to charge back up again.
The trigger system and short life may be here to stay but this is still a highly recommendable machine.
