I purchased the Bissell Spot cleaner and in less than six months of occasional use the hose broke free from the machine rendering it unusable. Unless I choose to purchase a new hose of course!

I also purchased the BISSELL SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner 3624. When removing the tool from the hose for cleaning the rubber ring fell apart; therefore without the ring it leaks when running. I went to a Bissell service center and was told he didn’t have the ring to repair it and Bissell didn’t offer it for repairs. The alternative is to purchase a new hose which costs about $50 or buy a new mahine. This is a ridiculous sales tactic There’s nothing else wrong with the machine. Guess I’ll be looking to buy another machine and it won’t be a Bissell.

I’ve owned two Bissell SpotBots. They clean well but the control pad failed on both after only three uses (literally three uses). I won’t buy another.

Spot bot is terrific dad used the one I got him at least weekly for years then I used it many times for mom. Never a problem at all. The spot clean is in my opinion, a overpriced cheap imitation that falls short in most areas.
If you own a bissell of any kind and something gets broke goes wrong, do not go into a service center. I always go online and either find part or do the online chat or text service.
They have found parts they dont carry anymore or have online; including a tank for an 8 year old lift off and a half moon piece for my newer cleaner that can only get by contacting customer service.
I also have a lift off vacuum that the base (and wheels broke still not sure how) they told me where local shop for it is and checked how long I had it (most of my machines registered with at least an approximate of when purchased) to be sure most repairs still covered by the warranty. I’ve never had a problem with going online and finding assistance for any of my bissells (the oldest is 25 years and still has suction on it just doesnt spray without some work and love to clear the bissels ect.)

I bought a BISSELL SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner 3624 a little over 4 years ago. I have used it many times, and it works like a charm. I’ve never had any kind of problem with it. It cleans better than any other cleaner I’ve used.
